An 86-year-old woman from Hennef was the victim of a brazen trick theft on Friday afternoon (August 8th).The crime occurred around 2 p.m. The senior woman was on her way home after shopping.She had put her handbag in the basket of her rollator.She was approached by a previously unknown woman on her doorstep, in the area between Bismarckstrasse and Frankfurter Straße. Unknowns asks for the way to the hospital The unknown asked about a hospital in Siegburg after the way and held a cell phone in front of the elderly woman to distract her.The 86-year-old said not to know the way. After the woman had left, the senior citizen noticed in her apartment that her EC card had been stolen from her handbag. Police published a description of the perpetrator The suspect is described as follows: she is about 30 years old, of slim stature and wore glasses.She spoke German without accent.
