I illegally carpiti from the video surveillance system of the home of the partner and beaten on the net, on internet sites and messaging chats: these are some movies that resume moments of intimacy of the TV presenter Stefano De Martino together with his girlfriend. The reaction of the showman, who denounced the illegal intrusion, is immediate, while the privacy guarantor ordered the stop to the dissemination of the videos.
The criminal complaint was made to the Police of Porto Cervo (Sassari) and to the Rome prosecutor's office by the lawyers Angelo and Sergio Pisani. The complaint (any compensation for the damage will go to charity for initiatives in favor of children and against cyberbullying) is wide -ranging: firstly we ask to identify and pursue those who managed to extract the video from the internal video surveillance system of the home of De Martino's partner.Already this, is underlined, is a serious crime, which is accompanied by a very serious lesion of privacy, amplified by the fact that the video was then spread on the web. This is why in the complaint is asked to ascertain and punish anyone who has conveyed the images on some sites, in instant messaging chats and also in private social networks.
Precisely in the latter case, the publication is often accompanied by seriously offensive comments against the television conductor and his family: the lawyers provided investigators with the screenshots who could be useful to trace the managers of the injuries, who in turn are asked to pursue, like users who retain the images or have shared them.In this regard, the lawyers Angelo and Sergio Pisani launch an appeal to delete private photos and videos published without consent: users, warn, could incur serious crimes by managing the personal data of others and contributing, among other things, to develop an illicit and dangerous market.
One of the main objectives of legal action, however, is to stop the spread of the video, assuming the crime of "illegal diffusion of sexually explicit images and videos in the complaint. In the same direction, the complaint also goes that De Martino presented to the Guarantor of Privacy for the "popularization of films", underlines the stressed authority, "which concern the personal and intimate sphere" of the conductor and girlfriend.
In this regard, we read in a note, "the Guarantor ordered the immediate definitive limitation of the relative treatment, arranged against anyone who has disclosed the aforementioned videos; the Guarantor also adopted a warning measure about the presumably illicit character of any further diffusion of the videos".The authority for the protection of personal data - recalling that "the dissemination of content concerning the personal and intimate sphere, even of well -known characters, is likely to determine a serious and irreparable prejudice for the subjects involved" - makes it known that it has started "an investigation" on the case, at the end of which "it is reserved any appropriate provision both of a sanctioning and corrective nature against those who are responsible for the volations".
