As the British law enforcement agency National Crime Agency reports, Casimiro de Lemos Francisco was sentenced to almost seven years in prison on September 11th - because he tried to smuggle cocaine worth more than one million euros to Great Britain in an electrical role.
The Portuguese ended up at Manchester Airport on March 30 and seemed to roll through the arrival hall unobtrusively.
But the wheelchair aroused the distrust of the border guards and they took a closer look at the apparently disabled man.
What they discovered had it - eleven packets of cocaine, each weighing up to twelve kilos, hidden in the backrest of the wheelchair.
