At the end of August, the system supplier, environmental data, which provides HR systems to the majority of Sweden's municipalities, was subjected to an extensive cyber attack.
The stolen information included, among other things, social security numbers, address, telephone number and employment ID.

Many affected by cyber attacks
It is about 1.5 million Swedes who have had their personal data published on Darknet.
According to IT expert Jens Nylander, many large companies have also been affected, at least 19, such as SAS, Axfood, Capio and Volvo.
"The companies probably do as best they can in many situations and in this case, the attackers came over everything. It is extremely unfortunate," he tells TV4.
Among the big companies, it differs greatly what has been leaked on Darknet, and Axfood, for example, looks very seriously at what happened.
"For our part, it is about information such as names, social security numbers, companies in which you are employed and, where applicable, if you have been in rehabilitation, but no information on the cause of sick leave, medical certificate or rehab plans is available. Neither home addresses or private contact details are found or affected," says Magnus Törnblom, press manager at Axfood.
