The two participated in the audience remotely.Delgatti spoke directly from a room in the Tremembé prison, where he is serving time.The deputy, in turn, obtained authorization from the Justice of Italy to participate remotely in the meeting. Before the condemnation of the Supreme became definitive, Carla Zambelli fled to Italy, which led the parliamentarian to be included in the Red Intepol diffusion. In July, the deputy was arrested on the outskirts of Rome.The target of an extradition process, Carla Zambelli awaits a decision of the case in the Rebibbia Women's Penitentiary. In his initial speech, Walter Delgatti stated that the invasion of CNJ systems occurred at the deputy's request and that he would have stayed at the parliamentary's house in Brasilia. According to him, Carla Zambelli "exercised direct command on crimes." The deputy said that the whole process to which he was convicted is based on a kind of "told me-said."One of the points investigated in the action, which deals with the insertion of fake arrest warrants in a CNJ system, was questioned by Zambelli. Because it has been criminally convicted of a final decision, the House must endorse the loss of its mandate.Due to Zambelli's escape to Italy, the rapporteur and the defense consider the unheard of in the house. By the rules of the House, the analysis of the loss of the mandate begins with the CCJ, and the result of the commission is submitted to the plenary of the House.For Zambelli's mandate to be revoked, the support of at least 257 deputies will be required, the equivalent of the absolute majority of the house.
