"We take this very seriously. That is why this topic is currently being treated nationwide in the police bodies. We are doing everything we can to uncover criminal networks and stop the perpetrators," said Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann (CSU) of the German Press Agency in Munich.There are cases nationwide in which people put language tests for others who do not speak German or are issued for fake certificates.
Up to 2700 euros for wrong papers
The research of the “Stern” and RTL covered the sums the perpetrators demand for their criminal services.The fake language certificates cost between 750 euros and 2700 euros.Customers receive contact with the fraudsters via social networks and handle their illegal business there.
