Published on September 5, 2025

BRASILIA - Hacker Walter Delgatti Neto testifies to the Constitution and Justice Commission of the Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday (10/9).He is one of the witnesses appointed by the lawyers of Deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP) in the process that can lead to her mandate. The House addresses a request from the Supreme Federal Court (STF) for the revocation of the deputy sentenced to 10 years in prison for invasion of systems and adulteration of documents to the National Council of Justice (CNJ).Zambelli fled to Italy in June, passing through the United States earlier. She was arrested in July, and is waiting for an Italian justice opinion on her extradition. The Chamber Commission evaluates the request for the revocation of the MP's mandate.Zambelli's defense has asked the hacker, also convicted of the CNJ invasion, be heard as a witness."The hearing of Walter Delgatti Neto, whistleblower who constitutes the basis of accusations against Mrs Carla Zambelli, becomes imperious," he says. "The credibility of his testimony is fundamental for the analysis of this CCJ, especially considering that he has already been labeled from Mitoman by the Federal Police in related investigations," the lawyers continue."Ignoring this qualification and not submitting its testimony to the sieve of the contradictory would be to compromise the legitimacy of any conclusion," they conclude. Also on Wednesday will be heard Michel Spiero. He was Zambelli's technical assistant. The deputy's defense also asked her to give testimony to the commission, and, besides her, who also speak the delegate Flávio Vieitez Reis, and the federal police officer Felipe Monteiro de Andrade. These two acted in the inquiry against Zambelli. There is yet another witness in the sights of lawyers. This is the former Minister of Defense, Paulo Sérgio Nogueira, who faces, at the Supreme Court, trial for attempted coup. After the testimonials, the rapporteur of the case, Deputy Diego Garcia (Republicans-PR), will present an opinion for the revocation or maintenance of the mandate. The case will also be voted on in the House plenary, and at least 257 votes are required to revoke Zambelli's term.
