A little more than a year ago, Rick Harrison (59) had to say goodbye to his son Adam.This was killed due to an accidental overdose of fentanyl and methamphetamine at the age of 39.The early death of his offspring dismays the "Pawn Stars" awareness to this day."I think of him every day," explains Rick during his appearance on the show "in Depth with Graham Bensinger" and indicates how much he suffers from Adam's death: "That thing is, if you lose a child, you doubt everything. It is as if you think: 'I could have done so?I don't think of him [think]. " Rick actually believed that they had done everything right in dealing with Adam's consumption of drugs.His son suffered from his addiction in young adulthood.His father remembers how often he tried to help him."I sent him to rehab so often, and every time he was great, and then he just fell back," explains Rick.Even a prison stay had not led to no success."I thought it may clean him when we put him in prison for two months, but he just went straight back on it," explains Rick."You try to give him hard love, but God, you just never see the overdose. [...] I never thought that that would happen."However, his severe loss has made it clear to the TV famousness that he now wants to concentrate on the positive aspects in life and want to use the time with his other children. Adam died on January 19, 2024. His father confirmed the severe stroke of fate with emotional words on his Instagram account."You will always be in my heart! I love you, Adam," Rick wrote about a picture on which the father-son duo looks into the camera together and wearing a warm smile on his lips.
