Scientists have presented a AI system that can predict the individual risk of a patient for around 1000 diseases.To do this, it analyzes the patient's previous medical history, data such as age and body mass index as well as information on lifestyle, such as whether the person smokes or how much alcohol drinks them.From this, the model called the "Delphi-2m" determines the probability of the patient to develop different suffering.This includes infectious diseases, dementia, cancer, metabolic disorders, skin diseases or cardiovascular diseases.The scenarios that it designs reach up to 20 years into the future.In the short term, it is also able to determine the likelihood of complications such as sepsis.
