In recent months, Minas Gerais has become a recurring target of cyber attacks, which have affected public agencies and private institutions in different regions of the state. In September, five municipalities, Carmópolis de Minas, Serro, Ribeirão Vermelho, President Juscelino and Luz, suffered invasions in their systems, accumulating a joint loss of R $ 5.8 million.Shortly before, two men were arrested in Belo Horizonte, suspected of integrating a scheme that diverted $ 107 million from a bank, while Ribeirão Vermelho City Hall had its system invaded, resulting in a deviation of about $ 200,000.
Faced with this alarming scenario, Belo Horizonte hosts the Cyber Security Roadshow 2025 on September 30th, an initiative of TI Safe, a national reference company in critical infrastructure cybersecurity. The event will be attended by CEO Marcelo Branquinho, a specialist in cyber crimes aimed at the segment, and Felipe Coelho Ribeiro, Claroty's main entations Engineer, a global cybersecurity company for industrial environments and strategic partner of TI Safe.
With the theme “How to face the challenges of cyber security in critical infrastructures and IoT environments in the face of emerging threats,” Roadshow will bring together automation engineers, IT managers, OT specialists, schises, CEOs and CTOS to discuss increasing risks and present innovative solutions to the protection of industrial and operational assets.
Claroty will take its expertise to discuss exposure and defense management against advanced attacks, at a time when cybercriminality acts as a structured business in the “crime as a service” model.Unrestricted Generative Artificial Intelligence Tools such as WormGPT, FraudGPT and DarkGPT are already used by criminals to create malicious codes, circumvent defense systems and sophisticate phishing blows, including fraud with voice and video deepfakes.
Defensive was the answer
Ti Safe is developing the Safer platform, a strategic milestone for cybersecurity in Brazil and Latin America. It is an unprecedented artificial intelligence solution aimed exclusively at cybersecurity. The personalized platform will be launched in January 2026 on the market.
Marcelo Branquinho, CEO of Ti Safe, argues that the response to new threats needs to be as technological as the attacks."We have reached a point where it is no longer possible to face offensive artificial intelligence only with traditional security processes. Our mission is to develop and apply defensive, that allows organizations to detect suspicious activities quickly, mitigate risks and preserve operational continuity. Technology alone does not solve, but, allied to education and awareness, can be decisive in protecting society," he says.
Roadshow, with limited vacancies, will be an opportunity for industry professionals to update with experts and strengthen their contact network in an environment that combines technical knowledge and exchange of experiences.Registration and more information can be obtained at: [email protected].
