Falu Municipality has been confirmed from environmental data that information from the leak is on Darknet, but how much of the information is there is not currently knows.
"It is serious, it is sad that there are those who are doing such things," says Helena Bergman, HR manager at Falu Municipality.
Other valley municipalities not affected
Other valley municipalities that use environmental data services should not be affected.SVT Dalarna has been in contact with Avesta, Smedjebacken, Mora, Orsa and Älvdalen.
- But information we have received has changed over time and I dare not expect that we will not be affected, says Tobias Åsell, municipal director in Avesta.
-We have not gotten rid of any data, then you can never be a hundred percent safe, says Mattias Grahn, IT manager for Orsa, Mora and Älvdalen.
Neither the Dalarna University, which also uses environmental data, should have been affected.
Falu Municipality is now working to get information to those affected by the leak.
