Civilian police from the Rio Preto Specialized Criminal Investigations (Deic) division (Deic) served on Tuesday morning, 7, at least two arrest warrants against men suspected of hacker attack on the EMPRO system in June this year, which caused chaos in the city's public service. According to preliminary information, the targets of the operation worked at EMPRO, which hired a consultancy of R $ 84,700 to identify the origin of the problem that disabled essential public service platforms, among them, the telephone number of the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and the Municipal Civil Guard. In Basic Health Units (UBS) and Emergency Care Units (UPA), employees, among doctors, nurses and attendants had to resort to manual work to record the care. The administration was also forced to extend deadlines of 23 competitions. The problem lasted six days (from the 5th to June 11) when the EMPRO team announced that the systems were rehabilitated. The inquiry is led by the delegate Adriano Pitoscia. The investigated were taken to Deic headquarters, where they will be heard. More information soon.
